DURHAM – Senior Faris Khan and graduate student Andrew Zhang were named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men’s Tennis Team, the organization announced.
Both earned the honor for the second consecutive season.
Duke was joined by Georgia Tech (one), Louisville (one), Miami (two), North Carolina (two), NC State (two), and Virginia (three) as ACC programs with at least one selection this season.
To be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must be a starter or key reserve, achieve sophomore standing at their current school, maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 and be nominated by his sports information director.
By virtue of their placement on the all-district team, both Blue Devils advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, with first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees being announced on June 5.
