JACKSON, Tenn. – Ludmila Kareisová and Emma Kette fell in the second qualifying round at the ITF W15 Jackson pro circuit tournament. Each earned a first-round victory to advance one match away from the main draw.
In the first round, Kareisová eliminated Jenna Dean from Charlotte by a score of 6-3, 6-2. The victory marks the All-SEC Second Team honoree’s fifth of the season. Kette defeatied Austin Peay’s Denis Torrealba, 7-5, 0-6, 1-0(6), grabbing her first victory of her sophomore campaign.
Unfortunately., Kareisová and Kette fell to their next opponents to end their time in Jackson, Tennessee.
The two Rebels will rejoin the team when they travel to Tuscaloosa for the Roberta Alison Invitational from October 27-29.
