Huskies Welcome Kerr To Coaching Staff

SEATTLE – Fresh off an outstanding senior season, Jennifer Kerr will be sticking around the purple courts, as she will transition into an assistant coaching roll with the Huskies for the 2023-24 season. Kerr will team up with Head Coach Robin Stephenson and Associate Head Coach Georgia Munns for her first coaching experience.

Kerr made a major impact in just one season at Washington, leading the team with a 25-8 overall singles record, going 19-6 at No. 4 singles and earning All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention. She helped the Huskies reach the second round of the NCAA Championships, winning both of her NCAA tourney dual matches, and she was ranked as high as No. 93 in singles.

“I’m really excited to continue forging my relationship with this amazing team,” said Kerr. “This coaching position is an opportunity to try a new role in an environment I’m intimately familiar with as a player. I’m not done contributing to Husky Tennis quite yet!”

Prior to coming to UW, the Carlsbad, Calif. native spent five years at Columbia, completing her undergrad majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior. She was an All-Ivy League first teamer at Columbia.
