In the second match of the day against UC San Diego, Morlet picked up another 6-0, 6-0 win on Court 1 over the Tritons’ Kelly Leung. She partnered with fellow senior Rachel Hanford in doubles where they got the 6-2 win over Kelly Leung and Polina Jorniak.
This is Morlet’s second Player of the Week honor of her career after being named Pac-12 Player of the Week during her sophomore year in April 2022 after being instrumental for the Sun Devils in defeating Stanford and Cal in the same season in program history.
After the opening weekend at home, the No. 25 Sun Devils will host Fresno State on Saturday, January 20 at 11 a.m. MST.
