DURHAM – The Duke women’s tennis team will return to the court this week as the Blue Devils will compete in the 2022 Fall Ranked Spotlight at the Cary Tennis Park and on the campus of NC State. Duke will feature three singles players and one doubles team competing.
Along with Duke, teams seeing action this week will be Arizona State, Auburn, ETSU, Kansas, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, NC State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Princeton, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCF, USC and Virginia.
The Blue Devils will kick off action on Thursday afternoon with Brianna Shvets and Katie Codd in doubles play versus Tennessee’s Cat Aulia and Lauren Anzalotta. The match will be played at NC State.
Friday’s singles action will feature three Blue Devils. Sixth-ranked Cameron Morra will face 69th-ranked Domenika Turkovic of Arizona State at 9 a.m., while 100th-ranked Emma Jackson will take on 10th-ranked Irina Cantos Siemers of Ohio State also at 9 a.m. Codd will take the court in singles versus Jeanette Mireles of Texas A&M at 11 a.m. All singles play will be held at the Cary Tennis Park.
The action will continue Friday through Sunday at both locations.
