Five Gators Featured on ITA Men's Singles, Doubles Rankings


Kim, Jin, and Nirundorn make the ITA D1 Men’s Singles rankings for the first time.

GAINSEVILLE, Fla. –  On Wednesday, The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released updated rankings for both Division 1 Men’s Singles and Division 1 Men’s Doubles. Four Gators were included in the Singles rankings (top-125), as well as two pairings in the Doubles rankings (top-60)
 
Freshmen Aidan Kim (57) and Jeremy Jin (75) made the singles rankings for the first time, following their outstanding debut Fall campaigns. The duo was previously ranked third and seventh respectively on ITA’s preseason newcomer rankings, respectively. Florida was the only team to rep two players on the newcomers list.
 
Sophomore Tanapatt Nirundorn (69) makes the Singles list for the first time, after finishing last season ranked No. 4 in ITA’s southeast regional rankings in Doubles and No. 21 in ITA’s national rankings in Doubles.
 
Graduate Transfer JanMagnus Johnson (86) remains featured on the list after an exceptional Fall. Johnson was a three-time ASUN Conference Player of the Year with Florida Gulf Coast and has previously been ranked as highly as No. 65 on ITA’s Singles list
 
Junior Nate Bonetto and Kim lead the way in Doubles for the Gators, slotting in at No. 38. Bonetto and Jin are also featured on the list at No. 48.
