DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke men’s tennis team is set to compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Championship, which will be contested Sept. 21-29 on the campus of the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Okla. A total of 11 Blue Devils will take the court starting Saturday.
Pre-qualifying will take place Sept. 21-22 followed by qualifying Sept. 23-24. Main draw will run Sept. 26-29.
Kicking things off for the Blue Devils in pre-qualifying singles will be Oscar Brown, Connor Krug, Jake Krug, Andreja Petrovic, Teddy Truwit, Alexander Visser and Theo Winegar. Sam Landau and Petrovic will compete in pre-qualifying doubles.
Landau will compete in qualifying singles, while Gerard Planelles Ripoll and Pedro Rodenas will team up for qualifying doubles action.
Rounding out Duke’s participants in the singles main draw are Planelles Ripoll, Rodenas and Cooper Williams. Williams and Winegar will team together in the doubles main draw.

Of those competing this weekend, Duke features four ranked singles players – Williams (4), Rodenas (16), Planelles Ripoll (47) and Landau (53). Duke’s doubles teams of Williams/Winegar earned the No. 16 spot, followed by Planelles Ripoll/Rodenas (28) and Landau/Petrovic (88).
The 2024 ITA Men’s All-American Championships will have a draw size of the following; Singles: Pre-Qualifying (128), Qualifying (64), Main Draw (64); and Doubles: Pre-Qualifying (32), Qualifying (32), Main Draw (32).
From this, 10 singles players will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship (eight main draw quarterfinalists & two feed-in consolation finalists). Meanwhile, four doubles teams will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship through the All-American Championships (four main draw semifinalists).
