NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt men’s tennis has earned the ITA All-Academic Team award, as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced on Monday. Additionally, seven Commodore student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
Overall, 1,059 Division I student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and 176 programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
Jeremie Casabon, Hugo Coquelin, Mitchell Deames, Juan Lopez, Danil Panarin, Callum Rendle and Connor Robb-Wilcox earned ITA Scholar-Athlete status. This marks the 19th year a Dore has been represented for this individual academic honor. To be eligible, student-athletes must have a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above. All varsity letter winners were factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
