Codd Discusses Team Success; Her Progression

DURHAM – In one of the best stories of the tennis season so far, Duke’s Katie Codd continues to shine in her sophomore campaign with the Blue Devils.

This past weekend, Codd helped lead Duke to victories on the road at No. 31 Wake Forest and No. 14 NC State, which included clinching both wins.  Duke improved to 12-5 overall and 5-3 in the ACC with the victories.

Codd, who hails from Carlsbad, Calif., owns a five-match winning streak and has won 11 out of her last 14 matches.  She has totaled a 9-0 ledger at the No. 4 singles slot this spring.

Earlier this week, Blue Devil Network caught up with Codd to talk about the teams success and her progression this year.

Duke will next host eighth-ranked North Carolina on Saturday, March 30 at 12 p.m., at Ambler Tennis Stadium.
