CLEMSON, S.C. โ€“ย The No. 32 Tigers (7-2) are headed to No. 66 Syracuse (6-1) in their first ACC-Conference matchup of the 2024 season. This will be the 10th matchup between the two programs, with Clemson leading the series 5-4. The Tigers last defeated the Orange, 6-1, in 2023.

โ€œItโ€™s a big and exciting tennis weekend for our team.โ€ head coach Boomer Saia said. โ€œWe have two excellent road match opportunities against Syracuse and Boston College. Our team is improving daily, and we are hungry to show our best this weekend.โ€

Clemson returns to the courts after the matches against Coastal Carolina and Mercer scheduled for Saturday, February 17 were postponed to a later date. More information will be announced in the future. After the Tigers take on Syracuse, they will head to Massachusetts to play Boston College.ย 

In Clemsonโ€™s last match, Alex Anttila had a massive win in singles against Olympe Lancelot from South Carolina. Anttila defeated Lancelot in the first set 6-3 and fell in the second 2-6. In a super tiebreak set, Anttila ultimately came out on top and won 10-7.

The Orange are coming off of a 4-0 win over Massachusetts this past Sunday, February 18, and have had a great start to their season, going 6-1 against Boston College.
