TULSA, Okla. – The University of Louisville’s Natan Rodrigues and Fabien Salle lost to Baylor’s 14th-ranked team of Finn Bass and Juan Pablo Grassi Mazzuchi in the semifinals of the ITA All-American Championships Saturday at the University of Tulsa.
The 48th-ranked Louisville duo lost a hard-fought first set 6-4, and held on for a 7-6 victory with a 7-1 tiebreaker in the second set. Bass and Mazzuchi secure the match with a 10-3 win in the third.
Rodrigues and Salle finish the week with a 5-2 record after opening the tournament with three straight wins in the qualifying draw. The pair moves their overall mark to 8-2 in the fall season.
