Canes Announce 2023 Fall Schedule – University of Miami Athletics

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami head women’s tennis coach Paige Yaroshuk-Tews announced Thursday the team’s schedule for the upcoming 2023 fall season.

The Hurricanes will make appearances in 11 competitions from late September through early November. The final weekend of the fall will include action in Goral Gables at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

Miami begins its season with selected players competing at the W60 Berkeley in California from Sept. 18-24, while other players travel to Cary, N.C., for the College Ranked Spotlight from Sept. 21-24. Right after, participating Canes will head back to California for the W60 Templeton from Sept. 25-Oct. 1.

The squad will then return home for an exhibition on Sept. 28 to face the USA Junior Fed Cup Team.

Selected players will make their way back to Cary, N.C., for the ITA All-American Championships, slated for Sept. 30-Oct. 8 at the Cary Tennis Park.

The Canes will then send various players to the W25 Florence in Florence, S.C., on Oct. 9-15 and to the W80 Macon in Georgia from Oct. 16-22.

A few days later, Miami heads to Gainesville, Fla., for the ITA Southeast Regional Championships, running from Oct. 19-23, while the W80 Tyler in Texas, will close out the month, which goes from Oct. 23-29.

The team will wrap up the fall season in San Diego, Calif., with those who qualify for the ITA National Fall Championships, before the team returns home for the Miami Fall Invite at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center, taking place from Nov. 3-5. Action is open to the public and is free all day, everyday.
