WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. The Purdue women’s tennis team will make a road trip over to Iowa City, Iowa where they will open Big Ten Tournament play against the Rutgers Scarlett Knights.

BOILER NOTES
•  Purdue is all-time 5-0 over the Scarlett Knights since they joined the Big Ten Conference.
• The last matchup with Rutgers was on April 15, 2022, and resulted in the Boilermakers taking a 4-1 win. 
• On Sunday, the Boilermakers honored Seniors Nathalia Wolf Gasparin and Seira Shimizu for their dedication to the program over the last few years before the match against Minnesota.  
• No. 71 Csilla Fodor boasted a singles win on Saturday over her opponent No. 88 Ava Markham, which gave Fodor her 29th season singles win, sending her to a six-way tie for third overall highest single-season program wins. 
• Rutgers closed their regular season play over the weekend with two road matches against Penn State and Ohio State. 
• Back in 2012 was the last time that the Boilermakers won the Big Ten Tournament. The tournament was restricted to regular season play only last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
