DURHAM – The 23rd-ranked Duke women’s tennis team will hit the road this week for a pair of ACC matches as the Blue Devils face 31st-ranked Wake Forest and 14th-ranked NC State on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
Duke (10-5, 3-3 ACC) will meet the Demon Deacons (12-6, 4-1 ACC) on Friday at 3:30 p.m., at the Wake Forest Tennis Center in Winston-Salem, N.C., and then the Blue Devils travel down Tobacco Road for a match with the Wolfpack (14-4, 4-1 ACC) on Sunday at 2 p.m., at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center in Raleigh, N.C.

The Series with Wake Forest
Duke and Wake Forest will square off for the 71st time in school history. The Blue Devils possess an impressive 66-4 record against the Demon Deacons all-time in the series. The two squads will meet for the 26th time in Winston-Salem. In matches played in Winston-Salem, Duke holds a 22-3 record winning its last matchup against Wake Forest, 4-3, on April 3, 2022.

Wake Forest holds a 12-6 overall and 4-1 ACC record on the season and is coming off a 5-2 win against Syracuse. According to the latest ITA rankings, the Demon Deacons are ranked No. 31 as a team. Casie Wooten is the sole representative in the singles ledgers at No. 38. In doubles, the duo of Brooke Killingsworth/Marcella Cruz (79) are ranked.
The Series with NC State
Duke and NC State will meet for the 65th time in series history. The Blue Devils are currently 62-2 all-time in the series. Duke and NC State will meet for the 25th time in Raleigh. In matches played in Raleigh, the Blue Devils are 29-1. Duke won its latest matchup, 4-3, at NC State on April 1, 2022.
