Bauer, Sachdev Victorious in Day Two of Fall Invite – Men's Tennis — Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s tennis concluded day two of the GT Fall Invite on Saturday, with Rohan Sachdev and Robert Bauer coming up big for the Jackets with wins in singles play. 

In singles action, Sachdev faced Filipe Costa (UGA). The first set was a hard-fought battle with Sachdev coming out on top 7-5. In the second set, he would cruise past Costa 6-1 securing a victory. 

Bauer had a helluva match against Chase Robinson of Liberty. After a strong opening set 7-5, Bauer would drop the second set 4-6. In the third set, Bauer would fight hard to earn a 7-5 victory over Robinson. 

The Yellow Jackets will be back in action for the final day of the Fall Invite tomorrow, with doubles matches beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Malesevic/Landry (Miss St) vs. Bauer/Shokry (GT);8-4 

Maggs/Recoura (New Mexico) vs. Arora/Sachdev (GT);8-4 

Singles: 

Bellegy (New Mexico) vs. Arora (GT); 6-3,7-5  

Sarouk (Alabama) vs. Shokry (GT);7-5,6-2 

Bauer (GT)  vs. Robinson (Liberty); 7-5,4-6,7-5 

Sachdev(GT) vs. Costa(UGA);7-5,6-1
