BLOOMINGTON, Ind – The Wisconsin women’s tennis team won its second match of weekend, 6-1, against the Indiana Hoosiers on Sunday, Mar. 10, at the Indiana University Tennis Center. The Badgers sit at the top of the Big Ten, boasting a 2-0 conference record.

With the debut of two new pairings, Wisconsin triumphed through the doubles matches. Alina Mukhortova and Ava Martin came out strong against their opponents, quickly defeating them with a 6-2 score. Rosie Garcia Gross and Taylor Cataldi fought against a 4-1 deficit early in the match to come back and claim the doubles point for the Badgers. 

On the singles court, Ellison Reynoldson and Taylor Cataldi came out swinging against their opponents, securing victories with scores of 6-0, 6-3. Following a challenging first set, Xinyu Cai delivered an outstanding performance, bouncing back to dominate the second set 6-0 after clinching the first at 7-5.
