STARKVILLE – Mississippi State’s Emmanouela Antonaki will be representing the Bulldogs at the NCAA Singles Championship this year.
Antonaki received an at-large bid for the event held at the UTSA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. from May 17-27. Draws and specific match times will be announced at a later date.
It marks Antonaki’s fourth consecutive year to compete in the NCAA Singles Championship. The graduate from Athens, Greece in the only women’s player in program history to reach the NCAA Singles Championship four times.
This season, Antonaki garnered a SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and a second team All-SEC selection after posting a 19-14 singles record. During the season, she also became the program’s all-time leader in career singles wins (98) and career combined wins (179).
Last time Antonaki was in Orlando, Fla. was in 2021 where she advanced to the Round of 16 and earned All-American status. She was just the second women’s player in school history to reach the Round of 16 at the event and one of five players to be named an All-American.
Antonaki is currently ranked 54th nationally and has earned five wins over ranked opponents.
