CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference, ACC Network and Cracked Racquets announced the continuation of their partnership today that will increase coverage of collegiate tennis throughout the conference during the 2024 spring season.
With this unprecedented agreement for ACC tennis, Cracked Racquets produces 14 CrossCourt Cast around coverage shows every Friday and Sunday, through ACC matchups. Cracked Racquets, a broadcast media outlet and leading source for all things tennis, will enhance ACC tennis coverage through broadcasting, podcasting and video coverage across a variety of social media platforms.
Cracked Racquets’ coverage of ACC tennis begins on Sunday, March 1 and will continue throughout Friday, April 14 on ACC Network Extra.
Five women’s and men’s teams are currently ranked in the Top 25 ITA Rankings. The women are led by No. 4 North Carolina, No. 5 Virginia, No. 10 NC State, No. 18 Duke and No. 22 Miami.
Wake Forest is the highest ranked ACC men’s team at No. 3, followed by No. 8 Virginia, No. 11 Duke, No. 17 Florida State and No. 22 NC State.
Two ACC women are ranked in the Top 3 in the country in singles with North Carolina’s Reese Brantmeier at No. 2 and NC State’s Amelia Rajecki at No. 3. Eight additional ACC women’s singles players rank in the Top 30 in the ITA Rankings, the most of any conference. Three ACC women’s doubles pairings, including the No. 1 duo of UNC’s Elizabeth Scotty and Carson Tanguilig, sit in the Top 10 of the ITA rankings. The ACC owns the most doubles rankings in the top 15 of any conference.
Six ACC men’s tennis singles players are in the Top 30 of the ITA Rankings, the most of any conference, while eight men’s doubles pairings are in the Top 30.
