The defending Pac-12 Champion Utah men’s tennis team is set to start off the spring season this Saturday, Jan. 20, against in-state rival Weber State. Following the match, the Utes will compete in six road matches before the next home competition.

HEAD COACH ROELAND BRATEANU

Utah Head Coach and reigning Pac-12 Coach of the Year Roeland Brateanu enters his tenth season with the Utes this spring season. After a stellar end to the 2023 spring season, Brateanu leads the team into the 2024 spring season as defending Pac-12 Champions and ranked ITA No.1 team in the Mountain Region.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS

The Weber State Wildcats will also start off their spring season with this meeting against the Utes. The Wildcats have faced the Utes four times in the past, all resulting in wins for Utah. The last meeting was in 2021, resulting in a 6-1 match for the Utes.
