TUCSON– Arizona women’s tennis will continue their fall tournament season in Cary, N.C., for the ITA Women’s All-American Championships Sept. 30- Oct. 8. Reece Carter and Brandelyn Fulgenzi will be traveling to represent the Wildcats for this upcoming event.
The ITA Women’s All-American Championships features the nation’s top NCAA Division I players. The pre-qualifying round will take place from Sept. 30 to Oct. 1, with a singles draw of 96 and a doubles draw of 32. The qualifying round will follow, going on from Oct. 2 to Oct. 3, with a singles draw of 64 and a doubles draw of 48. Finally the women will compete in a main draw for the remaining four days draws of 32 for both matchups.
This is the Cats second year participating in this tournament after a four year gap. Carter returns into action after competing at last year’s events.
