The Torerros (3-1) took an early lead after winning the Doubles matches at no. 1 and no. 3. They built their lead to a 2-0 advantage after picking up the first singles win at no. 5, 6-1,6-3.
The Sun Devils got their first point when Cassone picked up his second singles match victory of the season, defeating San Diego’s no.1, Liro Vasa, 6-3, 6-2.
Jacob Bullard picked up his seventh win of the season and the Sun Devils’ only other point, defeating Marvin Schaber 6-4, 7-5.
After losing the first set 6-3 to Saccitt Sharrma, Roi Ginat rallied to win the second set, 6-3. Giant went toe-to-toe in the third set but couldn’t secure the win against San Diego’s no. 4
