WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Following a strong 2021-22 campaign, and a solid open to the fall 2022 slate, the Wake Forest men’s tennis program revealed the remainder of its fall schedule for the 2022-23 school year on Monday.
Thus far, the Demon Deacons have competed in the ATP Winston-Salem Open and the UTR Winston-Salem Open this fall. The remainder of the Deacs’ fall 2022 slate features two home events including the Wake Forest Invitational (Oct. 28-30).
“We are excited to finish off the fall slate with several competitive events,” said head coach Tony Bresky. “It’s always great to start with the Winston-Salem Open, which is a great opportunity for our guys. We’ve hosted two events and we look forward to hosting two more at home in front of our fans. It should continue to be an exciting and productive fall season.”
Action will resume this week with the ITF M25 Invite. The Demon Deacons will then head to Tulsa, Okla., for the ITA All-American Championships (Oct. 1-9), before returning to the state of North Carolina for the ITA Carolina Regionals in Durham (Oct. 21-25).
Three days later, the Deacs will host the Wake Forest Invitational (Oct. 28-30), before heading to Ithaca, N.Y., for the ITF M15 Invite from Oct. 30 until Nov. 6. The fall 2022 slate will conclude with the ITF M25 Invite (Nov. 5-12).

ITA Preseason Rankings
- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) unveiled its 2022-23 Division I Men’s Top 125 Preseason National Singles rankings and three Demon Deacons (Filippo Moroni, Jurabek Karimov and Melios Efstathiou) earned recognition.
- Moroni was ranked No. 22, while Karimov and Efstathiou were ranked No. 64 and No. 80, respectively.
