2022 Knoxville Challenger Set to Commence


KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The stage is set for a spectacular week of tennis at Tennessee’s Goodfriend Tennis Center for the Knoxville Challenger, beginning Monday and running Nov. 7-13.
 
The annual Knoxville Challenger is a USTA Pro Circuit event and is part of the ATP Challenger Tour. Including qualifying rounds, four current Vols and five VFLs are set to take the courts.
 
Shunsuke Mitsui, Blaise Bicknell, Pat Harper and Martim Prata are the four representatives from Tennessee’s current squad. VFLs Hunter Reese, Tennys Sandgren, Giles Hussey, Adam Walton and Mikelis Libietis each return to Knoxville to compete on Rocky Top once again.

The Challenger’s singles main draw also features nine ATP top-200 individuals:

A free, designated public parking area for the event is located in lot SC40 to the left of the railroad trestle off of Kingston Pike in front of the Kingston Pike Building (2309 Kingston Pike) on Metron Center Way. Additional parking information can be found HERE.
 
Tickets are available at the door for $20/day. Kids ages 12 and under receive free admission.
