Women’s Tennis Signs Four In 2024 Class – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

Millfield School – Somerset, England

Annabelle Davis, a University of North Florida transfer, joins the Tigers after a breakout year in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Davis was a standout player at UNF as a two-time ASUN Champion in 21′ and 23′. In January 2024, Davis was nationally ranked No. 105. She ended her career at UNF as the No. 1 singles and doubles player for UNF with an overall record of 60-26 in singles and 31-20 in doubles. She was awarded the ASUN Freshman of the Year in 2021 and two-time ASUN Player of the Week. Impressively, she clinched UNF’s win against No. 25 Ole Miss in the NCAA Championship First Round 2021. Additionally, she was a three-time second-team All-ASUN recipient from 2021-23. 

Academically at UNF, Davis was awarded the Franklin Covey’ 7 Habits of Highly Effective People’ Knowledge Certificate. She was on the President’s Honor Roll in 23′ & the Dean’s List in 21′, 22′, and 23′. She was a three-time ASUN Honor Roll recipient and a three-time ITA Division I Scholar-Athlete. Additionally, in 2023, she was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. 

“I instantly connected with the coaches and their values and vision for the program. The campus is beautiful, and they have a great Health Psychology Masters Program,” Davis said on her reasoning for choosing Clemson.

“Annabelle is a coach’s dream,” Saia said. “She’s all in on her tennis, takes it seriously, and has a second-to-none work ethic. We are incredibly excited to add her to our program, as she will contribute on and off the court.”

Off the court, Davis loves spending time in nature, watching sports, cooking, photography, or reading sports autobiographies.

Florida Virtual School – Tampa, Florida

A native of Tampa, Florida, Kinsey Crawford is taking her talents to Clemson after signing this spring to be a part of Coach Saia’s inaugural 2024 class. In high school, Crawford was ranked in the TRN top 100 in the state of Florida in 23′ and 24′. Additionally, she competed on the ITF junior tour from 2022-24 and the ITA summer circuit in 2023. Academically, Crawford was a three-time AP Scholar from 2022-24 and an all-A Honor Roll recipient from 2021-24. She received the President’s Award for Educational Excellence in 2020.
