BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech women’s tennis will compete at Elon Fall Invitational and the Tribe Invitational this weekend to start its fall schedule.
The Elon Fall Invitational starts on Friday, Sept. 16 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 18. Kirsten Husted, Sabina Richtrova, Charlotte Cartledge and Michaela Hegarty make up the returners competing at Elon, while freshman Taylor Rieckert will also be in action.
Tech will send Sophie Mitchell, Lily Hackbirth, Katie Andreini, Dariya Radulova and Semra Aksu to William & Mary, along with newcomer Makenna Doyle. The Tribe Invitational will take place on Saturday, Sept. 17 and Sunday, Sept. 18.
