Women’s Tennis Hosts Saint Francis For First Home Match On Friday, Travels to Old Dominion on Sunday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women’s tennis team is set to host its first home match of the season on Friday at 3 p.m. against Saint Francis. The match will be a part of Penn State’s National Girls and Women in Sports Day celebration weekend. The team will travel to Old Dominion for a match on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Fans attending the matches can park at the East Deck for $1 per hour.
The Nittany Lions have dropped their first three matches, which were all played on the road. They are looking to rebound this weekend to gain their first win of the season.
SCOUTING SAINT FRANCIS
The Saint Francis women’s tennis team has one win on the season. The Red Flash defeated Binghamton, 7-0.
They are led by freshman Diana Zuba in the first singles position.
OBSERVING OLD DOMINION
The Old Dominion women’s tennis team also only has one win on the season. The Monarchs’ win was against Iowa State, 4-0.
The team is led by Sofia Johnson in the No. 1 singles position.
