SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Women’s tennis team is headed to Las Vegas, Nev., for the UNLV Invite on Nov. 11-13 to close out its fall schedule. This is the Utes’ second year in a row participating in the classic.
Utah will be going up against players from Iowa, Long Beach State, San Diego State, fellow PAC-12 opponent Oregon, and host, UNLV. The tournament will have 32 players participate in four singles draws, and two doubles draws.
The last time the Utes took to the court was at the Texas A&M Invite, where they battled against top-notch competition. During the second day of the Texas A&M Invite, Utah claimed five wins on the day, including a doubles victory by Samantha Horwood and Katya Hersh.
SCHEDULE OF PLAY
Friday – Doubles Quarterfinals followed by Singles Quarterfinals
Saturday – Doubles Semifinals followed by Singles Semifinals
Sunday – Doubles Final followed by Singles Finals
Utah will be back on the courts following the classic in 2023 for the spring season. The 2023 spring schedule has yet to be released. Stay tuned to UtahUtes.com for more information.
