Women’s Tennis Falls to No. 13 Ohio State

COLUMBUS, OHIO— After advancing to their first ITA Kickoff Weekend championship match since 2020, Sun Devil Women’s Tennis fell to No. 13 Ohio State on Saturday afternoon at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center.
 
With wins on Courts 1 and 2, the Buckeyes took an early 1-0 lead going into singles competition.
 
After taking the doubles point, Ohio State tacked on wins on Courts 6, 1 and 5

Sun Devil Women’s Tennis will be on the road next weekend as they will face San Diego on Sunday, February 4 at 2 p.m. AZT.  After the trip to San Diego, the Sun Devils will have a four-match homestand hosting Arkansas (Feb. 10/12 p.m.), No. 3 Oklahoma State (Feb. 17/12 p.m.), Cal Poly (Feb. 18/12 p.m.) and a rematch with the Buckeyes (Feb. 25/ 11 a.m.).
