The quarterfinals are set at the Championships! Let’s have a quick glance at the matchups on the women’s side:

Ajla Tomljanovic v [17] Elena Rybakina

Head-to-Head: Rybakina d. Tomljanovic 6-4, 6-0 at Madrid, 2021

Key Stat: Rybakina leads all remaining player with 87 percent of service games won; Tomjlanovic has won 71 percent of her service games, lowest of the eight quarterfinalists.

[16] Simona Halep v [20] Amanda Anisimova

Head-to-Head: Halep leads 2-1, including a 6-2, 6-1 victory at Bad Homburg QF last month

Key Stat: Halep has won 11 consecutive matches at Wimbledon and owns a 28-8 lifetime record at SW19; Anisimova is 5-2 at Wimbledon and making her first trip to a Grand Slam quarterfinal since Roland-Garros in 2019.

Maria Bouzkova v [3] Ons Jabeur

Head-to-Head: First meeting

Key Stat: Jabeur is returning to the quarterfinals at Wimbledon for the consecutive year, and she has yet to drop a set. Bouzkova had never been past the second round at a major prior to this Wimbledon – the World No.66 has wins over No.7-seeded Danielle Collins, No.28-seeded Alison Riske and Caroline Garcia.

Tatjana Maria v Jule Niemeier

Head-to-Head: First meeting

Key Stat: Maria, a 34-year-old mother of two, is into her first Grand Slam quarterfinal on her 35th appearance at a major. Niemeier, 22, is into her first major quarterfinal on her second Grand Slam appearance.
