Three-time Grand Slam champion Wawrinka names Novak Djokovic as GOAT.
“It always depends on what you talking about being the GOAT,” Wawrinka told the media in Banja Luka at about 2:35 of the video above. “But if I talk about the records and the most everything, I believe that Novak will end up in front of the two others.”
In the 2015 Roland Garros final, Wawrinka whipped 60 winners stunning the top-seeded Djokovic 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 to collect his first Roland Garros championship and deny Djokovic the career Grand Slam.
Wawrinka, who partnered Roger Federer to the 2008 Beijing Olympic gold medal, also defeated Djokovic in the 2016 US Open final and upset Rafa Nadal in the 2014 Australian Open final.
