CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 11 Virginia women’s tennis team (9-3, 3-1 ACC) travels to play at UCF (6-5, 0-0 AAC) on Friday at 5 p.m. at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.

NOTING THE CAVALIERS
- Virginia moved up four spots in this week’s ITA computerized rankings to No. 11
- The Cavaliers have two doubles teams ranked in the top 10 of the updated ITA individual rankings, the only school with two in the top 10
- Elaine Chervinsky and Natasha Subhash are ranked No. 6 with a 13-2 overall record and a 4-0 mark in dual matches
- Julia Adams and Mélodie Collard are No. 7 with a 13-3 record and a 10-2 mark in dual matches, with nine of those victories coming on the top court
- Sara Ziodato picked up her team-leading 17th singles victory on Sunday at Boston College
- Hibah Shaikh has won each of her last three singles matches and is 7-2 in her last 10
- Subhash is 14-4 this season in singles with a 6-1 record at No. 2
- Adams (44), Subhash (78), Shaikh (89), Chervinsky (124) and Annabelle Xu (69) are all ranked in the top 125 in singles
NOTING THE OPPOSITION
- UCF is No. 29 in this week’s ITA team rankings. They have been ranked as high as No. 14 this season
- This is the second-ever meeting between the two schools. UVA won 5-2 last season in Charlottesville
- The match is being played at the USTA National Campus, site of this year’s NCAA team and individual championships

- Virginia is home next weekend, hosting Notre Dame on Friday, March 17, at 4:30 p.m. and Louisville on Sunday, March 19, at 10:30 a.m.
