CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 7 Virginia men’s tennis team (19-4, 10-0 ACC) closes out the regular season by hosting Clemson (10-12, 1-9 ACC) on Friday, April 14 at 5 p.m. and Georgia Tech (12-12, 3-7 ACC) on Sunday, April 16 at 12 p.m.

WEEKEND PROMOTIONS
- The ten-year anniversary of the program’s first NCAA team championship will be celebrated at the Clemson match on Friday. Members of the 2013 team being honored on the court between doubles and singles
- The Georgia Tech match on Sunday will be the Cavaliers’ senior day. Fifth-year student-athletes Ryan Goetz and William Woodall will be honored in a pre-match ceremony at 11:50 a.m.
NOTING THE CAVALIERS
- The Cavaliers moved up one place in this week’s ITA team rankings to No. 7
- The Cavaliers swept the ACC weekly awards with Chris Rodesch being named the Player of the Week and Iñaki Montes and William Woodall being named the ACC Doubles Team of the Week
- Rodesch picked up his second victory of the year against a top-five player on Friday, taking down No. 5 Melios Efstanthiou of Wake Forest 6-2, 6-3. He followed on Sunday with a straight-set victory against Luca Staeheli of NC State to improve to 11-1 on the No. 1 court this spring
- Rodesch moved up to No. 10 in the ITA Singles rankings
- Montes has won his last six completed singles matches and is No. 23 in the ITA Singles rankings
- Jeffrey von der Schulenburg is on a seven-match win streak in singles and is 9-1 in his last 10. He is 22-6 overall and 17-3 in dual matches
- Ryan Goetz is 12-2 on the No. 4 court and picked up his 20th singles victory of the season last weekend
- Montes is 9-0 in doubles in conference play; Goetz is 8-0
- The Cavaliers are 10-0 in the ACC and are trying for their 16th ACC regular-season title and their 12th undefeated conference season

- Clemson is ranked No. 62 in this week’s ITA team rankings
- The Tigers do not have any ranked singles or doubles players
- Clemson leads the all-time series 42-31, but Virginia has won the last 19 meetings dating back to 2004
