PARAGUAY– No. 18 Arizona State men’s tennis is represented by one student athlete, freshman Martin Vergara Del Puerto, who will be playing for his home country, Paraguay, respectively, in the Davis Cup Playoffs Feb 3-4.
Competing on team Paraguay in World Group II, Martin Vergara Del Puerto will face Monaco at the Club Internacional de Tenis in Asuncion, Paraguay on February 3 at noon MST. He joins the group of Daniel Vallejo, Hernando Jose Escurra Isnardi, Alex Santino Nunez Vera, and Paulo Carvallo.

With the Sun Devils, Vergara is 3-2 competing mostly alongside junior Murphy Cassone in doubles. Vergara owns a 2-2 singles record through five matches this season.
