CARY, N.C. — Vanderbilt women’s tennis sophomore Célia-Belle Mohr arrived at the ITA All-American Championship with a spot in the main singles draw already secured. Now she’ll be playing doubles in the main draw as well.
Mohr and Anessa Lee teamed up for their third win in the last two days Tuesday at Cary Tennis Park to earn one of six berths into the field for the main doubles event. The two were nearly joined by the duo of Holly Staff and Valeria Ray, who fell in their final qualifying match.
In singles qualifying action, Bridget Stammel won the final two sets to pick up a victory over a top-50 opponent in the morning before dropping her third match in two days later in the day.
