Opening Serve: The Vanderbilt women’s tennis team opens the fall portion of the 2022-23 season with the 35th annual Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic.

About the Commodores: The Dores feature three student-athletes ranked in the ITA Preseason Top 125 for singles – Anna Ross (No. 40), Holly Staff (No. 64) and Anessa Lee (No. 76). In doubles, the pairing of Ross and Staff earned a preseason ranking of No. 7.

The Format
Friday: Two rounds of doubles followed by one round of singles
Saturday: One round of doubles followed by one round of singles
Sunday: One round of singles

Competing Schools: Vanderbilt, Furman, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Duke, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Clemson
