Vanderbilt Travels to Georgia Tech Invite

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Vanderbilt men’s tennis returns to the court for the Georgia Tech Invite, taking place Nov. 1-3 in Atlanta, Georgia. Alabama, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Liberty, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Yale, and Vanderbilt make up the competing schools.

The Dores return to play after advancing to the doubles semifinals and singles quarterfinals at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships. Four members are set to compete at the event: junior Tighe Brunetti and freshmen Dylan Charlap, Jack Ingram, and Callum Markowitz.

The invite will begin each day with doubles play at 9 a.m. CT and singles set to follow. Doubles will consist of one eight-game pro set with a tiebreaker at 7-7, while singles will be a best two of three format. Brunetti and Ingram match up against Georgia Tech’s Robert Bauer and Owen DeMuth for the opening match. Charlap and Markowitz take on Matija Samardzic and Rodrigo Santiago of Liberty.
