Vanderbilt Men's Tennis | Klopper Earns Academic All-District Honors

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — College Sports Communicators recognized Vanderbilt men’s tennis graduate Joubert Klopper as an Academic All-District honoree on Tuesday.

Klopper competed in more than half of the season’s matches while maintaining a GPA above 3.5 and is among several NCAA men’s tennis players around the country who qualified for this award.

Klopper, a graduate from Bloemfontein, South Africa, is 15-17 overall this season. He is a four-time honor roll selection, was an ITA Scholar-Athlete in 2020, 2021 and 2022, was named to the 2023 Academic Honor Roll, and was honored as the 2023 SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Joubert’s highest doubles ranking this season was No. 54 alongside partner Michael Ross.

Off the court and outside of the classroom, he has participated in community service activities with organizations including Love Serving Autism and the Jones Paideia Elementary School.
