SAN DIEGO — The Vanderbilt men’s tennis doubles team of Jeremie Casabon and Nathan Cox fell in a super tiebreaker in the round of 16 of the ITA National Fall Championship Thursday at the Barnes Tennis Center.
After dropping the opening set, the two responded by winning a tiebreaker to force the super tiebreaker against the duo of Ozan Baris and Max Sheldon from Michigan State. Both teams had opportunities to serve for the match before the Spartans ultimately claimed the victory, 16-14.
Casabon and Cox end the fall season with an 8-4 record after winning the title at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship.
