TULSA, Okla. — Joubert Klopper fell in a deciding third set on Tuesday as Vanderbilt men’s tennis wrapped up competition at the ITA All-American Championship.
Playing his second singles match in as many days in the qualifying round for the main draw, Klopper rebounded after dropping the first set before ultimately falling to Boise State’s Sam Sippel. Nathan Cox was also defeated in a consolation match, wrapping up four days of competition for five Commodores at the tournament.
Vandy will next be in action Friday-Sunday at the Bobby Bayliss Invitational hosted by Notre Dame.
