Utah set to host New Mexico


FIRST SERVE
The Utes prepare to play their second match of the week against New Mexico this Friday, Feb. 10. The squad will play at home in the George S. Eccles Tennis Center beginning at 10 a.m. MT.  Utah was originally scheduled for a doubleheader against Montana State but the Bobcats canceled due to injury related issues.

IN THE BOOKS
Head Coach Roeland Brateanu leads the Utah men in a 5-2 record so far this season. After coming off a successful three matches this past week, Brateanu continues to push his team to the top. The 2022 Wilson/ITA Coach of the Year currently guides the No.37-ranked singles player in the nation, Geronimo Espin Busleiman, and the No.17-ranked doubles team consisting of Berk Bugarikj and Patrik Trhac.
 
SCOUTING THE LOBOS
The New Mexico Lobos currently hold an undefeated record, 3-0, with wins against UT Arlington, Gonzaga, and New Mexico State. Last season, the matchup between the Utes and the Lobos was in Albuquerque, NM and resulted in a 6-1 win for Utah.
