Usereau Impresses with Standout Performance at TCU Tournament

FORT WORTH, Texas.- This weekend the Wildcats headed to TCU for the Jae Foundation Fall Open.

The women’s tennis team put on an impressive performance over the weekend, including Josie Usereau who took down #16 Garcia Ruiz (Oklahoma), 6-1, 2-6, 6-4. Usereau also defeated Martinez (Rice) 6-3, 6-0, and Watanabe (Cincinnati) 6-2, 4-6, 12-10. Stephanie Shogreen also competed this weekend, securing victories in three singles matches and two doubles matches. Danielle Tuhten defeated Gibs (Baylor), Selveraj (Rice), and Flanagan (Cincinatti) in her singles matches. 

The tournament marked the last one of the fall season before the ITA Sectional Championships (Nov. 7-10) and the ASU Thunderbird Invite (Nov. 8-10) later this month.
