The USTA announced its 2022 Collegiate Summer Team on Thursday (June 23) with Trojan All-Americans Eryn Cayetano and Stefan Dostanic being named to the prestigious squad. USC is the only school represented on both the men’s and women’s roster.
The 2022 USTA Collegiate Summer Team is comprised of the 10 top American college players and is a training program designed to help America’s premier college players assimilate to professional tennis in a team-oriented environment via USTA Player & Coach Development.
Each of the players was selected based on a number of criteria, including rankings, individual collegiate tournament results or Intercollegiate Tennis Association honors. Players on the team are eligible to receive a grant for travel to USTA Pro Circuit events and coaching support over the summer.

An ITA All-American in singles and doubles during his junior season, Stefan Dostanic also was named the 2022 Pac-12 Singles Player of the Year and half of the Pac-12 Doubles Team of the Year along with partner Bradley Frye. Having risen as high as No. 2 in the nation in singles and No. 3 in doubles during 2021-22, Dostanic was the No. 7 seed in the NCAA Singles draw. He and Frye were also seeded 5-8 in NCAA doubles. Dostanic finished out the season ranked No. 5 in the nation in singles and No. 7 in doubles. In going 39-6 overall in singles, Dostanic notched the most single-season wins by a Trojan since Steve Johnson in 2010-11.
