USC Women’s Tennis To Face Crosstown Rival UCLA On Wednesday

LOS ANGELES – After being postponed due to weather back in February, the USC women’s tennis team will face crosstown rival UCLA this Wednesday, March 15 at 5 p.m. The match will remain at Marks Stadium. 
Fans in attendance will receive complimentary “Beat the Bruins” t-shirts. 

USC enters the match with a 7-4 record, having most recently fallen to #7 Pepperdine on Sunday, March 12. The Trojans season stats can be found here.

RANKINGS

A host of Trojans are ranked in singles and doubles by the ITA: #4 Madison Sieg, #39 Eryn Cayetano, #61 Snow Han, #24 Naomi Cheong/Han and #34 Cayetano/Sieg.

 

SCOUTING UCLA 

No. 64 UCLA is 5-3, 1-1, having most recently defeated No. 4 Ohio State in a 4-3 thriller on Sunday, March 12. The top-five victory represented UCLA’s first since Feb. 2021. Three Bruins are ranked by the ITA in singles – No. 63 Fangran Tian, No. 76 Ava Catanzarite and No. 95 Kimmi Hance. The Bruins also boast a ranked duo in No. 10 Kimmi Hance and Elise Wagle, 

 

USC and UCLA are currently tied at 51 wins apiece in 102 all-time meetings between the two schools.
