USC Men's Tennis Hosts Three Scholar-Athletes and Earns ITA All-Academic Status

LOS ANGELES— USC men’s tennis earned numerous academic accolades via the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Three Trojans were given ITA Scholar-Athlete status, and the program earned ITA All-Academic Team honors, the association announced on Monday, July 22. 

The three athletes named were Samuel Rubell, Lodewijk Weststrate, and Peter Makk. Rubell earned his fifth ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition, while this is Weststrate and Makk’s third time. 

Additionally, the Trojans earned ITA All-Academic Team honors, recording a program grade point average of 3.2 or above. 

All three Trojans earned their place on the honor roll with GPAs of at least 3.5 for the 2023-24 academic year.
