EUGENE, Ore. – Equaling its best four-match start to the conference season, No. 41 Oregon continues its Pac-12 slate as the Ducks head north to take on Washington State on Friday (12 p.m. PT) and No. 18 Washington Sunday (11 a.m. PT).

UO is coming off back-to-back conference wins, defeating Colorado 4-0 on March 17 and No. 50 Utah 4-2 at the Student Tennis Center in Eugene. The 3-1 conference start equals the Ducks’ best start through four matches in program history, and the first 3-1 start since the 2021 campaign. Overall, Oregon has won four of its last five matches, with two ranked victories coming in that span.
 
The doubles tandem of Jo-Yee Chan and Ares Teixido Garcia are off to a team-best 10-1 start this spring, playing primarily at the No. 2 position. The Ducks’ top pair of Sophie Luescher and Uxia Martinez Moral is 674 this spring after picking up a win against the Buffaloes.
 
Oregon has claimed the doubles point in all 10 of its dual-match wins this season.
 
On the singles side, Chan has won eight of her last nine contests, as the freshman is 9-2 in her initial collegiate campaign. Martinez Moral has won eight of her last nine singles matches and leads UO with 10 singles wins (10-2), playing primarily at the No. 4 spot in the lineup.
 
Teixido Garcia, who has played the last 10 matches at the No. 2 position, is 8-5 and has been victorious in six of her last nine contests.
 
The Cougars have dropped all four conference matches this season – all coming at home – while they sit with a 7-8 record this spring. Eva Alvarez Sande has a team-leading nine singles wins in the dual season (9-6) while Elyse Tse is second at 7-7. The duo are currently set as the No. 38 doubles squad in the nation, boasting a 7-0 spring mark.
 
Washington enters the weekend ranked 18th in the country and riding a seven-match winning streak, including wins over No. 57 Arizona and No. 29 Arizona State. The Huskies’ singles lineup features three ranked players in No. 102 Astrid Olsen, No. 115 Hikaru Sato and No. 119 Jennifer Kerr.
 
The Ducks lead the all-time series with WSU, 27-24, after a 5-2 home win a season ago. UO is 13-40…
