UNC Reaches Doubles Semis At ITA Regionals


WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. Fiona Crawley and Carson Tanguilig have reached the doubles semifinals at the ITA Regionals. 

The Tar Heel duo had only played together once previously last spring in a dual match win against Virginia. Over the last two days, Crawley and Tanguilig have racked up three convincing wins, including an 8-2 win over Duke’s combo of Emma Jackson and Brianna Shvets in the quarterfinals. 

Saturday’s semifinal match will feature Carolina taking on top seed Nell Miller and Amelia Rajecki of NC State, who just last weekend won the ITA All-American Championship doubles crown in Cary, N.C.
