Transfer Alan Jesudason Signs With Tennessee Tennis for 2024-25

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Alan Jesudason has signed with the Tennessee men’s tennis team and will join the Vols for the 2024-25 campaign, head coach Chris Woodruff announced Tuesday.

The second transfer to ink with UT for next year’s slate, Jesudason, a 6-foot-4 junior at Drexel, earned CAA first-team honors after posting a 16-12 singles record his sophomore year, compiling seven wins in dual match play while competing atop the Dragons’ lineup. The Berwyn, Pennsylvania, native went undefeated in doubles in conference play, sparking a seven-match winning streak at the No. 1 spot to boast a 15-12 season record.

“I’m really excited about Alan coming to Tennessee next year,” associate head coach James McKie said. “He’s a super guy with a strong commitment to his academics along with trying to become the best tennis player he can be. He comes from a great family and has had a lot of success at Drexel. We’re excited to have him for his last year of college tennis.”

In 2021-22, Jesudason registered an 8-5 singles record, appearing at the No. 3 spot as a freshman, and finished 8-4 in doubles competition.

A five-star recruit out of Conestoga High School, Jesudason was ranked 60th in the nation and second in Pennsylvania according to the Tennis Recruiting Network.
