Tigers Perform Well at UNF Invite – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Three members of the Clemson women’s tennis team made the trip to the UNF Invite this weekend, and each of them put up strong efforts and came away with highlights to build on. Eleni Louka came away with a top-50 victory on Saturday, as all three of Louka, Hatton and Medvedeva went 2-1 in singles play.

Louka was able to defeat No. 43 Kit Gulihur in convincing fashion by a score of  6-2, 6-4. She went on to win another match on Sunday, as well as win her doubles flight playing alongside Cade Cricchio of Florida State.

Hatton earned her first two singles victories since returning from an injury suffered in the spring of 2022. She won her first match 6-4, 6-7, 10-8 and then on Sunday earned a 6-2, 1-6. 10-6 victory to close out her weekend.

Medvedeva won the backdraw of her flight after dropping her first match to cap off an impressive 2-1 weekend that featured a 6-2, 6-4 win as well as a comeback 1-6, 6-4, 10-6 victory in her third match.
