Ticket Punched! Sun Devils Head to Boston for NCAA Tournament


TEMPE, Ariz. – For the first time since 2019, the Sun Devil Men’s Tennis team has clinched a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Head coach Matt Hill will lead his program cross country as they open with Illinois (19-11) on Friday, May 5 in Boston, Massachusetts at Murr Center with first serves at 8:00 a.m. MST. Fans can watch the match here and follow along with live scoring here

Should they advance, the Sun Devils (13-11) will meet the winner of host No. 11 Harvard and Siena on Saturday, May 6 at 12:00 p.m. MST.

“I’m excited for this team as they have been working hard on the court all-yearlong for this opportunity to go to the postseason,” Hill said. “It’s great to see all their work pay off.”

In their last time out, the Sun Devils fell short to Oregon 3-4 in the 2023 Pac-12 Tournament as they claimed the doubles point on April 26 in Ojai, California. 

The Sun Devils feature No. 37 Murphy Cassone who has gone 16-5 in his singles matches this season. In doubles, Jacob Bullard and Constantinos Koshis are ranked 70.
