CARY N.C. – Three Clemson Tigers, Cristina Mayorova (123), Eleni Louka (86), and Daniella Medvedeva (101), fell in their first round of play during the ITA Women’s All-American Championships.
Mayorova was defeated by Iowa’s Dianne Hayashida 6-4, 6-3. Louka lost to the University of Florida’s Emily De Oliveira 6-4, 6-0. Medvedeva was overtaken by Texas Tech’s Metka Komac 6-2, 6-3.
All three Tigers have entered into the consolation draw and will compete tomorrow. Mayorova is set to battle against Arizona State University’s Giulia Morlet on October 1 at 12:00 p.m. Louka will compete against Justine Leong from Northwestern University on October 1 at 12:00 p.m. Medvedeva takes on UCLA’s Anne-Christine Lutkemeyer on October 1 at 3:30 p.m.
